More About Me
My wife Mary and I grew up next door in Clifton NJ, and are both products of public schools. We have three children attending Montclair public schools this year.
I graduated from American University with a B.A. in Political Science, and have lived in Washington DC, Chicago, and London before returning home to Northern New Jersey to settle down with our family in 2018.
Professionally, I’ve worked in financial technology in a number of executive roles since 2007.
From 2005-2007 I served on a public school board in Hardyston Township, NJ.
In Montclair, I served as two-term PTA President (2024-2026) and Treasurer (2022-2024) at Edgemont Montessori Elementary School, and am currently serving as the co-chair of the Superintendent’s Advisory Group on Budget & Finance.
Outside of work and involvement in our schools, I’m passionate about baseball, all kinds of music, and I love to cook.
My leadership style is predicated on balance – I believe in asking questions, thinking objectively, and considering all perspectives. And I believe deeply that the things we have in common are stronger than our differences.
